Lauren Amrhein was trained in the Russian method of classical ballet. Ms. Amrhein has been dancing for 18 years. Ms. Amrhein trained under Directors Shari Bickel and Sandra Harris while growing up. While training at White Marsh Ballet Academy, Ms. Amrhein performed in roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen, the Dewdrop Fairy, and was the lead in the dance company’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Currently, Ms. Amrhein is an instructor at White Marsh Ballet Academy, and a co-director of Ballet Company M at the University of Maryland, College Park. Ms. Amrhein is also a student at the University of Maryland, College Park on track to completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
