Welcome
to the White Marsh Ballet Academy
The Academy
opened it's doors in 1997 to a small group of summer camp students,
since then, the school has grown, formed it's own company in residence, and produced dancers
who have gone on to the most prestigious college programs in the
country. With small class sizes and personalized instruction,
the Academy is able to offer students the positive attention needed to reach
their potential in dance as well as all aspects of their lives.
The
Russian method of teaching is taught at the Academy. An emphasis on
proper technique, style and confidence are priorities at the Academy
as opposed to competitions and medals. Classes are offered for
children 3 and up as well as adults. A wide range of dance
disciplines are taught at the Academy including ballet, modern,
jazz, tap, hip hop, variations, pas de deux , pointe and
choreography development.

"To Live is to Dance...To Dance is to Live" |

Academy
Directors
Sandra Prehoda and Shari Vazquez
both share the vision of
encouraging students to achieve their best through positive
instruction and encouragement. For those students who strive
to dance professionally, the Academy features a performing company
in residence which gives
dancers who are serious about a career in dance an opportunity to
perform in a professional environment. As former professional
dancers, the directors know what it takes to make it to the next
level of dance, and can guide students through the extra rehearsals,
sweat, and hard work needed to achieve their goals.

INTRODUCE
YO UR
CHILD TO DANCE FOR LESS - White Marsh Ballet
Academy strives to foster a love of dance and the arts in
young children. To
that end, WMBA is offering a tuition discount for
students registering for our Beginning Ballet
class.
We are pleased to offer this class for $40 per
month (or only $120 per installment) for new and
returning students.
This class is designed to provide 3 to 5 year olds an
introduction to dance and the basics of ballet.
Developing an appreciation for dance at a young age
is a wonderful
experience that lasts a lifetime.
It also helps develop learning, listening and math skills
beyond dance. Call
