Our advanced classes prepare students for pre-professional dance, whether in college or the professional world. They showcase artistry and improve stamina, control, and flexibility while developing a critical eye for technique. Personal goal achievement is encouraged, and students can discuss their futures with directors.

Monday 

Ballet III/IIIA (on Pointe) (11+)

The dancers are serious about increasing their repertoire of ballet steps and combinations as well as building their strength and stamina.  Emphasis will be placed on polishing technique, body positions and stage placement. Classical and contemporary styles of ballet are presented. While there is an emphasis on Vaganova,  other schools of thought will be incorporated.  Dancers at this level must be taking technique class at least three times a week. Variations class may be added. At least 3 pointe classes are recommended for these dancers.  The curriculum moves quickly and this class is meant for the focused and dedicated ballet dancer.

5:00 - 6:15 PM

Elite Tap (Ages 11+)

Our highest, most advanced level of tap for dedicated dancers seeking pre-professional mastery! This high-intensity class challenges dancers with intricate sound production, fast-paced syncopation, and highly complex rhythmic patterns. Students will focus on perfecting advanced tap technique—including fast wings, double pull-backs, pick-ups, and complex turn combinations—while exploring diverse musical tempos, polyrhythms, and complex counts. Heavy emphasis is placed on speed, clarity, improvisation, and dynamic performance quality.

6:15 - 7:15 PM

Work It (Ages 13+)

A high-intensity cross-training class designed for advanced dancers! Focused on deep muscle activation, core strength, and dynamic flexibility, dancers will use Pilates, resistance training, and cardio intervals to boost stamina, explosive power, and injury resilience for peak performance.

7:30 - 8:15 PM

Elite Hip Hop (Ages 11+)

Our highest level of hip-hop for advanced, dedicated dancers! This fast-paced, high-intensity class is designed to push experienced dancers to their absolute limits in technical precision, explosive dynamics, and performance quality. Students will tackle complex rhythm structures, intricate footwork, rapid isolation control, and challenging, multi-layered choreography. Heavy emphasis is placed on personal artistry, stage presence, stamina, and freestyle execution to prepare dancers for pre-professional and elite-level performance.

8:15-9:15 PM

Tuesday 

Ballet IIB (Ages 10-14)

Dancers at this level will start class at the ballet barre to work on classical technique, executing combinations at different musical tempos and on different musical counts.  They will work to build strength and learn how to put several steps together while smoothly transferring their weight and holding correct posture and body placement.  They will also add new steps to their repertoire, moving beyond the Intermediate Level.  Center work will consist of an adagio, a tendu combination, jumps – including petit allegro and batterie, and pirouette preparations and turns.  Corner work will consist of jump, waltz, and various traveling combinations, including grande allegro, which are more advanced than at the Beginning Level, and kept in time to the music. Dancers at this level are taking at least 2  Ballet Technique classes and 2 pointe classes.

6:30 - 7:45 PM

Intermediate Pointe (Ages 10-14)

This class is designed for dancers who have established foundational pointe technique and are ready to progress toward greater strength, control, and artistry. Students refine alignment, balance, and footwork while learning more complex combinations both at the barre and in the center. Students at this level take ballet 2 times a week.

7:45 - 8:15 PM

Modern IIB (Ages 10-14)

This Modern Dance class focuses on both modern dance technique and dance improvisation for any style. The modern aspect of the class focuses on full-body movement, fluidity, floor work, and beginning partnering and lifts. Dancers will also become familiar with improvisation: creating movement on the spot without prior planning or choreography. The class will use fun, game-like improv exercises to increase dancers’ confidence and creativity in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. 

8:15 - 9:15 PM

Wednesday 

Adv/Int Hip Hop (Ages 8-12)

This high-energy class is designed for intermediate dancers who already have foundational hip-hop experience and are ready to push their skills further! Students will focus on refining technique, increasing execution speed, and tackling more intricate choreography. The class covers a wide variety of urban and street styles—including popping, locking, and breaking elements—set to age-appropriate, upbeat music. Dancers will build strength, rhythm, musicality, and performance confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

5:00-5:45 PM

Adv/Int Tap (Ages 8-12)

Designed for tap dancers with a solid foundation who are ready to elevate their rhythmic precision and speed! This energetic class focuses on mastering multi-sound combinations, improving footwork clarity, and introducing faster tempos. Dancers will work on syncopation, basic wing and pull-back variations, and dynamic rhythmic patterns while building musicality and ankle strength in a fun, supportive setting.

6:00-6:45 PM

Advanced Hip Hop (Ages 11+)

Designed for experienced dancers who have mastered intermediate fundamentals and are ready for a greater challenge! This fast-paced class focuses on pushing musicality, increasing execution speed, and mastering intricate, multi-layered choreography. Dancers will refine their versatility across various urban and street styles, with an added emphasis on performance quality, sharp dynamics, and personal style. This class serves as the perfect bridge to prepare dedicated dancers for the pre-professional demands of Elite Hip Hop.

5:45-6:30 PM

Advanced Tap (Ages 11+)

Dancers at this level will work on increasingly complex combinations. Technique, executing combinations at different musical tempos and on different musical counts will be the theme.  Students will also build strength and learn how to put many complex sounds and rhythms together. Tap is a popular style of American theatrical dance distinguished by percussive footwork that marks out precise rhythmic patterns on the floor.

Advanced Pointe (Instructor Approval)

This class is designed for highly trained dancers with strong, consistent pointe technique who are ready to take on demanding choreography and refined artistry. Advanced Pointe emphasizes strength, precision, and endurance while challenging dancers with complex center work and extended en pointe sequences.

7:45 - 8:15 PM

Modern III (Ages 11+)

Advanced Modern challenges dancers with complex movement phrases, grounded technique, and dynamic use of weight, breath, and momentum. Students refine their versatility through both traditional and contemporary modern styles. This class encourages dancers to push boundaries, embrace individuality, and develop a strong artistic voice while maintaining technical clarity and control.

8:15 - 9:15 PM

Thursday 

Ballet IIB (Ages 10-14)

5:00 - 6:15 PM

Intermediate Pointe (Instructor Approval)

6:15 - 7:15 PM

Jazz IIB (10-14)

This fast‑paced, high‑energy class is designed for dancers with a solid technical foundation who are ready to push their jazz training to the next level. Students refine core jazz technique while exploring more complex rhythms, dynamic movement quality, and advanced choreography.

7:30 - 8:30 PM

Power Up (10-14)

Designed as the ultimate supplemental cross-training class for intermediate and advanced dancers! This high-energy, aerobic conditioning class focuses on building core strength, stamina, and overall body toning to enhance dance performance and technique. Blending high-intensity cardio intervals, resistance work, Pilates, and targeted muscle activation (focusing on feet, ankles, legs, and turnout muscles), dancers will improve endurance, posture, and alignment while reducing the risk of injury. Perfect for serious dancers looking to power up their technique and take their cross training to the next level!
